I went to purchase a $10 cardcall phonecard. The vendor only had 2 $5 cards. Which i purchased.

When i went to enter the 13 digit pin# the voice operator kept informing me that the pin# was invalid. Just in case i made a mistake, i tried the pin# over 10 times to make sure it wasn't my mistake..

I tried the 2nd card. It was exactly the same.

I went to call the customer call line and was put on hold for over half an hour..

Two cards that didn't work and poor customer service.

Don't buy cardcall !!!

Just want to leave a general review for 3 phone cards (one mentioned above)- I can't believe how scarce this information is! If you want to call India or Iraq (landlines and mobiles), I'd highly recommend the "Family" phone card- my friends tell me that it's got excellent connection quality and call rates, and doesn't rip you off with unreasonable increment charges, fees etc. The "Genie" phone card apparently has great connection to Iraq, but your money doesn't stretch anywhere near as far as the "Family" card because of the 10 min increment charges. My friend would not buy it again. I'd say the "Family" card would be good to call anywhere, as long as you're happy with the rates. Finally, please stay away from the "Xcite" phone cards- I bought one to call my friend in Brunei and the connection was so choppy and bad that we couldn't carry a conversation at all! Stay away from "Xcite" cards. Hope this helps someone out there.

if you ask me ,reliance calling card is the best one around.have been using it for one year now and i get good voice quality, fast connections, and virtually zero call drops.i learnt that they slashed their effective calling rates this festive season to about 5.9 cents/min and are also giving away 120 mins free talktime to all their customers.Makes sense to go for it.
